Verizon and ATT-Cingular have recently changed their policy regarding contract transfer. They now require that a person can not assume the remainder of a contract that is less than 12 months or 11 months respectively. Therefore, no Verizon postings on the Cellswapper site will drop below 12 months and no ATT-Cingular contract below 11 months, to reflect this new reality.
There is still great value for a buyer in using Cellswapper to get new wireless service. Firstly, almost all new Verizon contracts are 24 months and with Cellswapper they are 12 months. Secondly, with Cellswapper you can often get plans that are no longer available with new Verizon service.
|
|
|
8. Do I have Any Responsibility once my contract has been transferred?
No. Once your plan has been Transferred, the buyer assumes All financial
responsibilities for the cell phone plan. Your Name and Personal Information on

under the jurisdiction of the carrier and is beyond our control. Porting policies
seem to change very often with each carrier. Therefore, we suggest that to get a
definitive answer to your question please contact your specific carrier. |
